Saving...
Monday February 3rd 1896 It snowed nearly all day. The boys were about the house most of the time. I cut out a couple of shirts for Will to sew at during the day, in the evening I sewed on muslin for myself. Tuesday February 4th 1896 I was busy about the kitchen work all morning We had early dinner and went down town. I did not have time to go over the river. Did evening work after we came home. I read all the evening. Wednesday February 5th 1896 Seth was gone all day on the market with wood. Will helped me wash in the forenoon. I sewed in the afternoon and evening for myself. Thursday February 6th 1896 I finished Wills shirts and cut out another one He was in town in the forenoon. Seth was working at wood. I sewed all the evening. Friday February 7th 1896 I did a lot of work about the house in the forenoon besides the ironing. Will went to town and we did not have dinner very early. I finished the last shirt I was working and mended the clothes before putting away. Saturday February 8th 1896 I got my work done early and we went over home. Took in the butter & eggs. Mother and I walked to town in the afternoon. Lee is still sick. I feel very much worried about him. It was late when we got home. I read in the evening, was tired, went to bed early.
