The boys are hauling hay though Will is not well. I went to town with apples in the afternoon. Mother and Robbie stopped here for supper. They had been to the valley. I was very tired tonight. Tuesday July 24th 1894. Will did not feel well but went to town in the waggon in the morning. I was busy about the house. It was very warm. I read and wrote in the afternoon. The boys were picking up apples. Wednesday July 25th 1894. I went to town this morning and took in some apples. I was over home a little while I had a lot of things to see to. The baby is not very well I did baking and cleaning up the house in the afternoon. Ed & Ada McCallister were here. Thursday July 26th 1894. I went in town early expecting to meet Laura Mason. She did not come. I hurried home to get dinner for the men stacking oats. They got done at noon. There was a hot wind in the afternoon that was terrible. Will went in to the evening train thinking to find Laura but she did not come. Ott got home from Topeka this morning. The baby is better so Will Bremmer told me at the depot.
