Thursday September 20th 1894 Will and I took Alice home this morning. It is the first time I had been at the old Purcell place in more than 20 years. We got home in time to get dinner. about four oclock we drove over to Woolfs of an errand. There was a heavy rain tonight. Friday Septemner 21st 1894 IO was busy with the work all the forenoon. I was down in theorchard where the boys were in the' afternoon. I made some apple preserves at supper time and diod the mwending in the evening. Saturday September 22nd 1894 I was busy all the forenoon with doing baking and sweeping. After a late dinner Will and I went to town I did not have time to go over the river. I called at Esthers after my errands were done. We came home before it was late. I read in the evening. It turned cooler tonight after a warm day. Sunday September 23rd 1894 We went to church this morning and as soon as I could get our dinner over we wentr to the valley. Was at Aunt Ems awhile come home early Charlies time was up and he went home today. Monday September 24th 1894 Will helped wash this morning and I baked bread
