dinner. I put the carpet down again and at three oclock I went over to Marys for butter and stopped at home to dress a chicken. I took some of Hatties things over and brought mine back. I was up in the evening. Sunday April 9th 1893 I was busy all morning with the work and in the afternoon went over home. I wrote a letter to Charlie & Ida. In the evening Will and I went to church. weather quite pleasant. This is Mays birthday. she is eighteen years old. Monday April 10th 1893 We did a very large washing this forenoon. I helped Josie with her dishes and she ironed while I went over home in the afternoon. Hattie & Fannie went to Mrs Barbers funeral. I spent the evening at home. Tuesday April 11th 1893 I helped finish the ironing this forenoon and had Josie scrub and clean the old safe in the kitchen. I spend the afternoon at home doing the mending. Fanny went to her society meeting. It rained some in the forenoon and in the evening about nine oclock we had a terrible rain. John & Hatt had just left here
