Sunday May 7th 1893 Will is forty five years old today. It took me all the forenoon to get dinner and take care of the house. In the afternoon we went over home and out to Marys. I got my supper after I came home and read and wrote in the evening. Monday May 8th 1893 I got my work down and put in the boiler to wash out the sheets and some towels I had then nearly done when Josie came home. It rained a little in the afternoon, but they got dry. I went up town with Edith to select a birthday present for her mother. Then went up to call on Mrs Rich,. After supper I went in to see Mrs. Borlind. Will was hauling. Tuesday May 9th 1893 We ironed in the forenoon and I went up town. in the afternoon Josie and I cleaned out the hen yard and done some work in the cellar. I was sweeping all afternoon and in the evening had such a wretched cold that I could not sit up till Ott brought Fanny home from the depot. Wednesday May 10th 1893 I felt better and we washed this morning. I ironed a few things after dinner and mended Wills pants. Fanny spent the most of the day over the river. She took over the plants
