around the pier and through the galery of Manufactories building. met Mr & Mrs Lawton of Delavan. It was the nearly dark. Went into the Electrical building which is fine at night. Ate some lunch and rested awhile. We came home on the elevated road, got a cup of coffee before coming to our room, not very tired tonight. It has been a very windy chill day. Saturday October 7th 1893 It was a pleasant morning. We got an early start, stopped at 57th St entrance. Spent the forenoon in state and foreign buildings we had not seen and through a part of Art galery. We ate lunch in Oklahoma building. We then did the rest of the state buildings and went down to Midway. Took in the streets of Cairo and watched people ride the camels. As soon as we came out of there we rode in the Ferris Wheel which we enjoyed very much. The crowd was so great it took us a long time to get back to the grounds. We went through Transportation and sat down to rest, we went into the Horticulture rotunda and into crystal cave. From there through Government buildings. It was then nearly dark.
