Wednesday December 20th 1893 I hurried through my morning work and went up town to see about new curtains for Mr Edwards front windows. Jennie Woolf was here for dinner. Will and I worked the whole afternoon to put up the curtains. It was after five oclock when I went over to the church to help with the supper and Will got himself a lunch and took care of the house. I got home at eight oclock and went to the Presbyterian church with Mrs B-- and Percy. They had a big fair up there. Anna Edwards came home tonight for her vacation. Thursday December 21st 1893 I did some mending in the forenoon besides my other work. We had early dinner and went out to look at Mr Hedges farm for rent. Will is very much pleased with the place with the exception of the house. We got home before night. I wrote and read after getting supper over. Friday December 22nd 1893 I went over home early this morning to have a talk with Mother about our going on the Hedges farm. I came home to get Wills dinner, he made a load from the valley. It is thawing and the roads are getting very muddy. I worked on my mat what I could. Lee came home
