60 To cure ye Itch Take elicampane roots and boil them in Vinegar and beat them afterwards and make them into an Ointment with hogs suet or oyl of Trotters Another Take plantane water half a pint brine of powdered beef one pint boiled together and Clarified is a most Sure Remidy to heal ye Itch [illegible] Ring-worms and Shingles Another Take white peper finely powdered sallat oile mixt it and anoint the palms of youre hands and the souls of youre feet
