12th Saturday Jan 27th 1872. I felt very much better this morning helped do up the work and baked a cake Mother went to town but was not gone very long we did not get dinner till after she came home I made two sheets this afternoon just before dark Liz Lindley and her Mother came a short time after Mr Robinson came too they stayed and spent the evening we got supper played cards and had a general good time Lizzie is as lively as ever though to judge from her appearances I should not think her health was as good as usual. They stayed till nearly ten she came down Tuesday and will go home tomorrow or next day it snowed a little this evening although the weather has been more moderate for the past two days. Thus ends another week. Sunday January 28th 1872 I am still on the mend though more slowly than I like have not been out for the weather is so disagreeable. We did not get up early this morning Rob did not go to church. Charlie went to town and did not return. About three oclock Mr Huebner came over he brought
