15th Thursday Feb 1st 1872. More moderate today. Taught all day When I came home Mother was gone to town I helped about the supper and the work and knit all the evening When Charlie came home in the eve he brought me a note from Mr Huebner it was an invitation to go riding on Sunday afternoon. Hattie and Rob went up to Coralville to attend an exibition Rob was to take part in the exercises Friday February 2nd 1872 Taught today did not have a very full school Em Middleton was over to school all day had rhetorical exercises in the afternoon and Rob came over Mother went over to see how Grandma Folsom was today After school I went to town was up to the dentists and had a tooth pulled bought me a new plain gold ring the same size of the one Pete sent me Wrote a note to Mr Huebner and put it in the office I saw him he wanted me to stop at the stair but I would not do it. got my shoes that had been left for repair got home early knit all the evening.
