18th Wednesday Feb 7th 1872 Taught all day We had quite a little excitement here at home Rob took my key to school with him this morning and Charlie had to go after it. I went over to Fletchers after school Anna was not at home. I stayed awhile when I came home I found Mother gone to town Weather pleasant Thursday Feb 8th 1872 Taught today saw Anna she came by the school house she thinks she will help us about the charade I sent over there and got the book today we copied Mollies old part for her and I prevailed on her to accept it I was busy writing all the evening wrote a note to the sisters asking them for their curtains weather still continues pleasant. Friday February 9th 1872 When I came home from school I found Mother had gone to town she brought home Hatties new dress her and Rob has gone down to Sale's to a party Had a letter from Bertie Croninger today The weather continues pleasant I knit some this evening and studied my part.
