37th Saturday March 16th 1872 It took Hatt and I all the forenoon to get the work done up and get the dinner. As soon as I could get ready after noon I went to town stopped at Mrs Ogles and tried on my waist and went up and got the trimmings for it got me a pair of new kids today and my curls made a call at Mrs Farnsworth stopped at the store and got some butter scotch for Hatt It took me all the evening to do up some work I had on hand. Went to bed early Sunday March 17th 1872 It took Hat and I all the forenoon to do up the work When Rob came home he brought Mr H_ with him. He stayed all the afternoon and evening We did not go to church tonight it has been snowing by spells all day real disagreable. Charlie did not go after Mother. I wish she could have got home today Father was not at home to dinner he went over to see Aunty Ogden Charlie was to church this eve I did so want to write to Jennie today but did not have the time.
