Saving...
40th Friday March 22nd 1872 Mother was gone over to Billingsleys part of the day Father started to Chicago this morning I did the work today and did think I would sew some but really did not have sufficient ambition to get my work out I got the supper and then dressed up as I had an engagement to attend the Society tonight Mr Huebner came over but Mother objected to being left alone and we amused ourselves with a game of cards Rather a pleasant day and most a beautiful evening. To bed very early. Saturday March 23rd 1872 Mother nor I either one felt like work today for some reason so we just took things leisurely Hattie came home this morning bringing Minnie with her The day passed slowly enough No word from Charlie yet. A bright day though cold for the time of year Sunday March 24th 1872 We got the work done up rather earlier this morning than we usually do of a Sunday I sat down to write a letter to Flo had not finished it yet when Rob came from church and brought me a letter from Pete
