49th Sunday April 14th 1872 Helped do the work and got some dinner early. Father went to Walkers today Mother went to the funeral of Ad. Hess this afternoon I wrote and read a little it commenced to rain about the middle of the afternoon When we were eating supper Mr Huebner called he spent the evening here a dark disagreable night Monday April 15th 1872 I did the work myself this forenoon got the dinner and did up the work and then fixed the band on a chemise went to bed as soon as I got the supper work done it has been a cold disagreable day. Tuesday April 16th 1872 Early this morning before we had done up the work Mr Huebner came over with a dispatch from Charlie saying he would not be at home this week Mr Stapleton was here to see me about that school We washed a small washing this morning and this afternoon I went to town put some letters in the office to forward to Charlie
