50th was into the store awhile went down to Em Cannots stayed till after supper had an introduction to Miss Hueston she walked part way home with me read some in the evening rather a pleasant day. Had a letter from Flo Wednesday April 17 Mother and Mrs Robinson went up to Woods Addition today I only did the work this afternoon it rained. Mother came home very tired and I did up the work Mr Huebner was here this evening. Thursday April 18th 1872 Had a letter from Mr Huebner this morning it contained one which he had received from Mr Palmer in which he says Pete is still in Newark (rather surprising) I worked all the afternoon making cake for the childrens party tomorrow night Friday April 19th 1872 The most beautiful day and evening we have had this spring I worked awful hard today Had a note from Mr H_ This evening there was between thirty and forty young folks here they appeared to enjoy themselves though I was too tired to enjoy any thing I went to bed early Mr Huebner was over
