54th nearly dark when Mr Huebner came I had a big romp out in the yard with the boys and the dog Mr Huebner and I went to the Congregational church to hear Miss Chapin deliver a temperance lecture the church was so full we could not get in came back to the Baptist church and heard Mr Adkins preach from the following text Jude 1st 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God. The folks had all gone to bed but Rob when we got home. Monday April 29th 1872 It was real pleasant this morning I did the washing sewed some in the afternoon It rained quite heavily late in the afternoon a dark and rainy night went to bed early. Tuesday April 30th 1872 Did the ironing this morning and finished Mothers dress in the afternoon and worked some on my red sacque went over to see Mollie awhile helped with morning work and went to bed early Wednesday May 1st 1872 Helped do up the work this morning and then dressed and went to town took dinner with Sadie, in the afternoon went
