76th Thursday June 27th 1872 Charlie was going to take the girls home today so Mother and Lee went too The children went to school so I was left alone I prepared the bed room and regulated the house some. Wanted to go to town ever so bad but felt too tired They did not get home till pretty late brought the new carpet home. Wrote a note to Mr Huebner Friday June 28th 1872 Mother did the work this morning while I made the new carpet, She went to town in the afternoon got a new curtain for the little room Ella and Fanny Robinson was up to the store Mr Huebner walked home with me They had a rehearsal here tonight Father got home on the evening train from the east. Saturday June 29th 1872 A pleasant day Jim Stevens and family were here spending the day After they went home I dressed and went to town took supper with Anna K_ then took a promenade round town
