95th again. took Lorna down town to a party met Tommy and invited him to ride with us had such a nice time stopped at the ice-cream rooms Very warm I wrote to Mr Huebner today. Saturday August 24th 1872. I did not feel well today and have the tooth ache some We were invited out to Mr Browners to a party tonight but no one went but Jennie and Ira Ett and I went to bed early. Weather intensely warm Sunday August 25th 1872. I had the headache this morning and did not go to church all the rest of the folks went but Aunty and I. I dressed before dinner. In the afternoon we all went to the Mackinaw had melons along and ever such a pleasant time. Clara Alexander was with us when we got home we took her on down town. No one went to church but Tom and Ett My tooth has ached most of the day. The weather is still very warm.
