116th Sunday October 27th 1872. In the forenoon I helped do the work and as soon as I had my dinner I got on the horse and went out to Stevens to engage board. In the evening I wrote a long letter to Mr Huebner It has been a lovely day. Monday October 28th 1872. I helped do the washing this forenoon and in the afternoon while Mother was gone to town I sewed. A pleasant day. Tuesday October 29th 1872. I ironed in the forenoon and in the afternoon I cut out some shirts and sewed on them Mother and Rob went up in the country to engage some apples about dark it began to rain, Wednesday October 30th 1872. I was sewing all of the day on the shirts The weather not very pleasant. Thursday October 31st I was sewing on the shirts, Mother went to town this morning, she brought me two letters one from Bertie Croninger and one from J.J. Huebner In the afternoon Mother and Hat put in a quilt. I finished the shirts
