132nd Tuesday December 24th 1872 Early this morning I went to town It is said to be the coldest day known for ten years. We recieved invitations today for New Years Eve at Aunt Linda's. I got the buttons for my black dress today and a new delaine wrapper which I want to make yet this week In the afternoon Mother and I washed did not get through till night. Wednesday December 25th 1872 Today is Christmas it does not seem possible. We have no company invited today. Hattie went to Winnies to dinner Mother got the dinner here at home and I sewed on Mothers black dress got it done just before supper time In the evening Arth Folsom was here. I cut my wrapper. I had a letter from Mr Huebner which I answered. Thursday December 26th 1872. The weather is more moderate today I worked on my wrapper all day. Had a letter from Mr Huebner written Christmas Eve. Friday December 27th 1872 I sewed on my wrapper all day In
