149th Saturday Feb 22nd 1873 I sewed all day got my night-dress almost done it was an awful cold day Joe Wright was here for dinner, recieved $25.00 today school wages Sunday Feb 23rd 1873 A cold day. I staid at home all day. Winnie was over to dinner I wrote to Mrs Palmer Cousin Ira and Mr Huebner. I hope it will be warmer tomorrow as I have to go to school. two years ago tonight Lizzie Robinson was married. can it be possible. how the time has passed. Monday Feb 24th 1873 It was quite cold this morning but I walked out to school. When I came home in the evening I did not find either Mother or Hatt at home I sat down to sew a few moments and Flora Mygatt and Mollie Folsom both came in An agent for our machine called with some attachments for the machine I bought a tuck marker and a ruffler. Hattie Ott and Lee spent the evening at Fletchers. I did some tucking in the evening and like the tuck marker very much indeed.
