164th early supper and then Charlie and I got ready and went over to hear Mrs Livermores lecture on "What shall we do with our daughers", the lecture was most excellent I was so glad I went. Sunday March 2nd 1873 Mother Ott Lee and I went down to Grand-ma's in the sleigh. We had a splendid visit and got home in good season I wrote a letter to Bertie before night and Mother Ott and I went to hear Mrs Livermore preach tonight but the house was so full that we could not get in at all so we went up to the Congregational church and heard Mr [James?] preach from the following text 1st Timothy 11.13. Till I come give attendance to reading, to exortation, to doctrine. Monday March 3rd 1873 Father took me out to school this morning and Charlie came after me tonight Mother and Mrs Middleton came with him After supper Mollie and Jim Folsom spent the evening here. Jim came from The West this morning he looks just as natural. Katie Higgins was here today but went home with Jim and Mollie
