Saving...
163rd stayed there till after dinner when we went down to Em Cannots and then I stopped to see Sadie. I wrote to Mr Huebner tonight. Monday April 14th 1873 I walked to school this morning and Otto went with me. It rained nearly all day and if we did not have a holy time getting home. I felt so used up that I could not work in the evening. Tuesday April 15th 1873 I walked to school today. it rained some during the day I started to walk home but met Charlie coming after me. Minerva and Mary Hart were here. Charlie had brought them over from town. I had a letter from Mr Huebner I sewed some in the evening. Wednesday April 16th 1873 It was so rainy and stormy that I did not attempt going to school today and it would have been the last day of school. I helped Mother do the work and sewed some on my black dress in the evening I visited with the girls. it was late before we got to bed. A dark stormy night.
