170th Saturday May 10th 1873 I ironed all the forenoon. Aunt Sarah and Charlie Corwine took dinner here. Hattie was sick all day with the ague. Mother went to town in the afternoon I worked till just supper time. In the evening Mr Huebner came over and we went to town after some oranges for Hattie. It rained a little in the evening. Sunday May 11th 1873. Mother went up to Aunty Walkers today I had to do the work. Mr Huebner came over in the afternoon and him and I took a walk down to Robinsons And found Lizzie at home on a visit When I came home I got the supper and in the evening went to church. Monday May 12th 1873 Mother and I washed in the forenoon and in the afternoon changed the beds and some pillows. Hattie was sick and did not go to school. I had a letter from Ira.
