202nd Mother did a small washing. she was not quite through when Grand-ma Grand-pa and Aunt Lib came. After they were gone Mother and I got into the buggy and went up north of town on errand. When we got home we found Aunty Walker here going to stay all night. I was sick and went to bed as soon as I got home. Got word Tom and Ett are married. Tuesday October 7th 1873. I helped do the house work all the forenoon. Jim McCollister and wife were here for dinner. In the afternoon The Miss Pursells and Lorna Mahanna were here for supper, and did not go home till after night. Had a letter from Mr Huebner and answered it. Wednesday October 8th 1873 I sewed till the middle of the afternoon and then put out a washing. Mrs Trowbridge spent the day here and Owen was over to supper. Thursday October 9th 1873. Mother and I went to town this morning and then up to Aunty Walkers. We got a whole buggy load of vegetables and things. We came home in good season. Friday October 10th 1873 I ironed some this morning. Had a letter
