Saving...
205th Saturday October 18th 1873. We did the work this morning and after dinner Mother and I went to town in the buggy. We did not stay long. I did not do much of any thing in the evening and went to bed early. Sunday October 19th 1873. Owen and I went to the valley today. It was nearly noon before we got there. After getting our dinner there we down to Aunt Linda's and called. It was dark when we got home. I enjoyed the day very much. In the evening I wrote to Mr H_ and Lou Sherfey. Monday October 20th 1873. I did a large washing this morning and Mother and I went to town in the afternoon. She attended Mrs Conellys funeral and I did some errands and came home alone. I brought our new rag carpet home. After I came home I ironed some. I got white velvet to make me a waist. Tuesday October 21st 1873 I ironed all the forenoon and after dinner started to town to get my waist cut. I met Owen coming over to ask me to attend a euchre party at Pursells tonight. Mother came home in the buggy and I rode home. Went to the party tonight and enjoyed it. Had a letter from J.J.H.
