Saving...
220th Monday December 22nd 1873 We looked for Grand-ma and Grand-pa today but they did not come. Mother was over to town in the morning. I attended to the house work and sewed some about the middle of the afternoon. I took Hatt over east of town in the buggy and left her to stay all night. I sewed till late in the evening. Tuesday December 23rd 1873. Hatt and I ironed this forenoon and in the afternoon Mother and I went to the funeral of Grandma Lucas. We did some trading before we came home. Grand-mother and Grand-Father came over and staid all night. I cut and sewed carpet rags all the evening. I received a letter from Mr Huebner. Wednesday December 24th 1873 I sewed a little in the morning and helped get the dinner. After dinner Grand-ma and Grand-pa went home and Mother went to town with them she got a new calico dress. I washed in the afternoon. Mrs Middleton was over and stayed till after supper. In the evening I wrote a long letter to Owen.
