Saving...
229th Wednesday November 18th 1874 To school again today. In the evening I had two letters from home and two from Charlie. I knit all the evening. Thursday November 19th 1874 I rode to school this morning. But walked home tonight. I practiced and knit in the eve. Friday November 20th 1874 Ira took me to school in the morning and Willie came after me in the evening. I knit all the evening. This has been a disagreeable week to teach. After I came home from school I took a wash and put on a suit of my new underwear that Charlie sent me I got it last night. Saturday November 21st 1874 I ironed a little this morning and got ready to go down town. About eleven oclock I went out to the road and got a ride. I went around town some. Paid some debts I owed and got me a new pair of overshoes and yarn to knit Ott a scarf. I then went down to Mrs Beechers and spent the day very pleasantly with her and the children I had a letter from Charlie and a package of patterns from home. Uncle came after me about five oclock. Bill Reed was here and staid all night.
