230th Sunday November 22nd 1874 It rained all day. We were none of us away from home. I wrote to Mother and to Charlie. Monday November 23rd 1874 Ira took me to school this morning and I walked home at night. I worked all the evening on a scarf, had a letter from Charlie. Tuesday November 24th 1874. I walked to school and back again today. I worked on my scarf all my spare time. Wednesday November 25th 1874 I worked on my scarf all the spare time I had today I wrote Charlie early this morning and in the evening I wrote to Mother. A letter from her. Thursday November 26th 1874. Thanksgiving day. Well I hope I am thankful for my many blessings. I finished my letter to Mother this morning and wrote a note to Owen. I finished one scarf and began another tonight. In the afternoon I went down town. And in the evening Jen Ira and I went to the hall to an oyster supper tonight. Weather quite pleasant. Friday November 27th 1874 It was snowing in the morning. And Ira took Laura and I to school, and came after me in the evening. I worked all the evening on my scarf. There is nearly a foot of snow, I had a letter from Charlie.
