February, FRIDAY, 6, 1863. i wrote a letter to Jane today. and Recd. a letter from Her Dated the 1st of Jan and unfinished & unsigned Crossman & Sonner & Gyors got Back. ..Warmer.. SATURDAY, 7. Frank Moine Recd & the other Boys got Back Frank saved my Blanket and drew my Ration money at [Corinh?] or $5,00 of it and some other of my things He saved & gave to James Barr SUNDAY, 8. Went to Methodist Church today in forenoon & read Kenneth a Romance of the Highlands by Renolds I got it at Davenport Library at the rate of 5 cts a read for 25 ct Book. snow storm.
