March, THURSDAY, 26, 1863. We Recd. from our Captain a copy of Lieut Hendersons farewell adress, with the response from the Capt in behalf of the Company, which I forwarded to town to David. "Very pleasant weather FRIDAY, 27. Recd. a letter from Jane & one from David. Recd. pay up to January 1st/63 pay 78"00 Clothing Balance 17.95 Total $95.95. Wrote to Jane sending 1.00. I sent to Jane by General Baker $30.00 SATURDAY, 28. My Birth day sent by Express to Jane one box with Blanket & Cup & saucer to Her & cups & dolls & watches & candy for the Boys in all 1.80 & express 75 = 2.55 Went to Theatre in evening 25. "J. Carmichael was Robed"
