April, TUESDAY, 7 1863. Went to Concert given by the Ladies of St Louis for the benefit of Sick & Wounded Soldiers it was a success. 25 ct Tickets Went down after dress parade with a squad WEDNESDAY, 8. I wrote a letter to David & sent with Mr Lebedo. I sent a Colored Boy Alfred Johnson with Him for Father or David I gave the Boy $1.00. Lebedo pays expenses & get repaid in Iowa THURSDAY 9. Steamer Planet Got orders to start to day Marched down to Boat and left St Louis at 2 oclock p.m. on Boat Planet for Memphis. all our Company Came on board except V. B. [Wait?]
