Violet Lea Farm September, SATURDAY, 19, 1863. Jane Came Into Her Room without knowing I was Come & found me there. I found Her looking well. Had a long talk with Father Durno To day about Politics & war matters. Very Cold weathe SUNDAY, 20. Edwin took us out for a Ride to day to Mr Millnes, Mr Mearchants. Had a thorough wash off to day in James Room troubled some with Diarreah ,,Still very Cool,, MONDAY, 21. Wrote a letter to Father & Mother and one to David. Jane washing to day, Mary Legg is Here preparing for getting Married on Thursday. She Has asked Jane & me to it
