Dell delight Iowa November SATURDAY, 21 1863. Showed Ben the Boundary of farm, and where to build sheds, move rails Haul wood &c &c. Copied Lease and fixed day Book & other writting SUNDAY, 22. I staid at Home, some of the neighbors Called in to bid me good by before Leaving. Mother Jane & Elsie are preparg a box with some Cakes &c to take with me MONDAY, 23. Parted with my family & friends, it was pretty Hard to part from my Little Children my weeping Wife & Mother. But duty Called and tws done Alick took me to McGregor
