10 Chewalla Tennessee January 10th/1864 Sunday I Received a letter from Mrs C J. Henderson dated the 19th & 27h December. She is better Frank is better then He was, and all getting on finely. I wrote a letter to Jane and one to Father & Mother. Col Stibbs got back from Memphis where He was aranging for pay & orders for Iowa. Cavilry troops are passing towards memphis from Nashville on the train today
