25 Chewalla Tennessee January 25th 1864 Monday Received orders to Pack up & be Ready to start sometime this evening or night. I played my first game of Chess with Lieut. Cook yesterday a draw game, & today with Lieut Reed He winning once & I once. I finished Reding the Dead Secret, today. Corinth Evacuated today. we are now the out Post.
