71 Boat Minnehaha Miss River March 11/64 Friday We passed the mouth of White River, where one of our gun Boats were shelling the woods driving the gurrillas from a Transport loaded with cotton which the Rebs were trying to capture the Boat got off all right. we passed Hellena this morning 330 miles from Vicksburg the weather is getting very cold
