117 Davenport Iowa April 26th 1864 Tuesday My other nosetril Bled all day to day & plugging [no] nothing else would stop it. I was taken to the Post Hospital in an ambulance from the Pennsylviana House. I am now quite weak, as the Bleeding did not stop untill 10 oclock P. M. the Hosptl is quite Clean &c &c
