179 Moscow Tennessee June 27th 1864 Monday We Received orders to march this morning at 4 oclock for Lagrange. The day was very Hot so much so that many of the men gave out about one half of all the Troops fell out of Ranks. I suffered greatly but Held out. we marched 15 miles by 11 oclock. I found a son of Wm Davison formerly of Postville Iowa in 7 Minnesota
