Commenced our Return to Memphis marching a distance of 8 miles to Old Town and encamped for the night. The loss in our Regt for the Battles were 9 Killed & 54 Wounded out of 300 men We are now on 1/4 Rations. the Rebels followed us and threw some Shells into Camp when the 2d Brigade of the 3d Division Charged them driving them off
