300 Selma Alabama May 13th 1865 Saturday Fixed up our Camp finely plenty of Lumber and we built a Board House entire about 9 x 12. and the men have Shanties to suit their tast or Convenience. Duty is Heavy so far as our Brigade have Picket and Provost Duty., fatigue and police of Camp &c. which is Duty every other day for all, I wrote a letter to Mrs C.J. Henderson. Walked through the City this forenoon
