301 Selma Ala May 14" 1865 Sunday The 1st & 2d Brigades of of our Division arrived to day marching from Montgomery. They are going to Demopolis & Meridian a Brigade at each. we are to stop Here where Division Hd Quarts will be established. Attended preaching by Caplin Humprey of the 12" this fore noon. Visited Mr Smith and Family this afternoon British subjects who Contemplate returning to Scotland.
