21 Regts of Infty Came to this place from Montgomery on their way Home to be mustered out. they leave for Vicksburg to morrow. Our Guard Quarters was in the City Hall, where a Theatrical performance is enacted 3 times a week. the Actors are mostly soldiers of 3d Brigade, and the onely Woman in the arangement Maggie Marshall is a Medium Star Actress of doubtfull Character. The night passed quietly notwithstanding the many transient Soldiers in the City. I Closed the Salons at 8.
