36 Selma Ala, Aug 10" 1865 Thursday I was taken with a chill followed by a serous fever which continued untill night. per mail to day I Received 3 letters one from Mrs Henderson one from Father & Mother one from the Kerr Young Ladies jointly, Angy Lavina & Asceneth! And all those letters proved very Satisfactory and done me good Service
