63 Selma Ala Sept 4" 1865 Monday I wrote a letter to Jas Henderson Snr also a letter to Mrs Jane Durno Ills, A petition or rather a Statement of grevances is being Circulated through the Regiment by the men intended for Gen.Wood asking to be releived and mustered out of Service, Frank Comstock was put Guard House for Sleeping on His post & allowing Commissary goods to be Stolen. I had Him paroled & sent to Co today
