7 Selma Ala, June 14th,, 1865, Wednesday Formed a mess of three Sergt Hutchins , Corpl Jorden, and I. Black berries are very plenty and are brought in by Cart load, by the Negroes and sold from 5 to ten cents per quart. I have furnished a suit of Clothing to my Black Boy Joe. I wrote a letter to Mrs J. Durno Ill, and one to Father & Mother Henderson took Home the book I borrowed of Mr. Smith this evening. More rain to day
