19 Southern Railroad Ala June 27" 1865 I was sent in pusuit of Addison L. Brown by Co Marshal Special Order 18074. I left on the train this morning reached Demopolis at noon, made connection with the train west of the Tombigby river and reached Meridian at 6 oclock P.M. found some trace of Brown, But He is still one day ahead. had to 1st stop at Meridian to night as no train goes through in the night Dinner. Supper & Lodging 1,50
