56 Center Ala 56 Nov 3d 1865 Friday The Teams arrived yesterday with 10 days more Rations & Hard Tack instead ofFflour is the Ration & great dissatisfaction is Manifest as all are boarding out & the hard bread is not relished by Solder or Citizen. The men buy the Flour, and give the Hard bread away, Spent the evening at the House of Mr Sharp. Forwarded the Copies of the Oathes taken in this County for Month of Oct. to Dept Hd. Qrs Maj Fred Wilson Adjt. Genl. Dept of Ala. one file for Dept of State Washington & one (Vertically, at right:-) file for Provost Marshall General Both through Dept. Hd. Qrs.
