77 Center, Ala Nov 24" 1865 Friday Three more of our men returned to Company today John McElvain, R.D. Williams & N.H. Spears. I settled with J. McElvain and paid Him the Ballance in full of all collection made for Him $15,00. Returned to R.D. Williams the money I Borrowed July 25"/ 65 $40,00. I wrote a letter to Mrs C.J. Henderson this morning. Studied Phrenology this afternoon in a late Copy of the Journal on that [science?] by Fowler & Wells. Rec'd a very beautifull flower or Boquet from Miss Ella Standerfor
