27 Major Knee is also Breveted Lt. Col. of Volunteers. Stibbs is full Colonel He Telegraphs from Washington that the 12th" Iowa has been ordered to be Discharged from Service as soon as posible. the same order has been in force 6 months (as soon as posible) I recd a letter from G. L. Durno of Date Dec 3d 1865. I fined a Mr. West for violation of a military order in regard to U.S. & C.S. Stock,, 15.00 Very beautifull weather to day for winter.
